  • Publication of Notice: After receiving the notice, the Marriage Registrar will publish the notice on the notice board of his office. The notice will be put up for 30 days. During this period, any person can object to the marriage if they have a valid reason.
  • Objections: Registrar investigates objections; valid halts, invalid allows the marriage.
  • Marriage: After the notice period is over, and no objections have been raised, the Marriage Registrar will solemnize the marriage. Marriage can occur at the Registrar’s office or any other location within their jurisdiction.

Documents Required for Court Marriage in Noida

To initiate the court marriage process in Noida, the following documents are mandatory:

  1. Application Form: A duly signed application form by both parties, serving as a formal request for court marriage.
  2. Proof of Age: A valid document establishing the age of both parties, such as:

– Birth Certificate

– School Leaving Certificate

– Passport

– Voter ID Card

– Driving License

– Other relevant documents

  1. Passport-Size Photographs: Two recent passport-size photographs of both parties, to be submitted along with the application.
  2. Marriage Invitation Card: A marriage invitation card, if available, although this is not a mandatory requirement.
  3. Affidavit: A sworn affidavit by both parties, along with two witnesses, declaring:

– Their marital status

– That they are not related to each other within the prohibited degree of relationship, as per the Hindu Marriage Act or any other applicable law

Note: The affidavit should be executed on a stamp paper, as per the prevailing laws and regulations.
